From 2009 to 2019, the Northcoast 24 (NC24) was a great event for runners of all abilities. Several National and World records were set at Edgewater Park and the race had many followers. Sadly, it is no longer possible to hold the event at this venue. Enter the "new and improved" Northeast Ohio 24 (NEO24) along with most of the NC24's original organization team!
We are attempting to put on a 24 hour race of the same caliber as the NC24. While too late to hold a USATF Championship, we will attempt to secure that in 2025. NEO24 is for runners, by runners with the objective of providing an accurately timed race to be enjoyed by runners of ALL abilities. Come see how far your fabulous body will carry you!
The NEO24 course is an approximately 1.0-mile, mostly flat, paved loop that encircles beautiful Brunswick Lake Park (Park location). The course will be measured and certified by USATF. It is all asphalt with the exception of 2 wooden bridges. The park is situated 13.7 miles south of Cleveland Hopkins Airport and roughly 7 miles south of the Ohio Turnpike (I-80).
The course has been measured and is fully registered and sanctioned by USATF (OH24009JHP). Anyone with a valid USATF membership can set US records.
Bronze level IAU certification. World records will count.
