Welcome to the NEO24 October 4, 2025

New for 2025:

  • A 12 hour race
  • A medal for 50 miles (in either race)
  • A larger, dated buckle for 100 miles
  • Feedback from 2024 incorporated

"The NEO 24 is a race for everyone, whether it's your first ultramarathon or looking to put up a new personal best! Even in its inaugural year, the race atmosphere was electric with everything running smoothly by Larry and his team. The race course is beautiful and peaceful around Brunswick Lake"

Pete Kostelnick - 2024 NEO24 winner

Our Journey

From 2009 to 2019, the Northcoast 24 (NC24) was a great event for runners of all abilities. Several national and world records were set at Edgewater Park and the race had many followers. Sadly, it is no longer possible to hold the event at this venue. Enter the "new and improved" northeast Ohio 24 (NEO24) along with most of the NC24's original organization team!

NEO24 Course

Our Vision

The NEO24 is for runners, by runners, with the objective of providing an accurately timed race to be enjoyed by runners of ALL abilities at a venue that is easy on the runners AND crew.

Come see how far your fabulous body will carry you!

Our Philosophy

At Running Forward and Giving Back , we believe that running has the power to change lives. As an organization , we have donated more than $75,000 of our profits to those in need in northeast Ohio over the past 8 years.

He has been running since 1975 and running Ultras since 2010, including such iconic races as the Keys100 and Badwater135. He has also run twenty two 24 hour races. As an AG USATF National Champion at 24 hours (2018) and 100 miles (2024 & 2025), he knows what you should expect from an Ultra event.
